Financial
Participants will have two one-year assignments or three eight-month assignments during their time in the program. Assignments may vary by location according to business needs. The mission of the Leadership Program is to develop strong finance team members and future leaders of Goodrich by providing participants the opportunity to gain an understanding of the organization’s culture and environment, through day-to-day manufacturing activities and projects that will increase skills and knowledge while also adding value to the business. Division AssignmentsParticipants will have the opportunity to work on assignments in operations, finance, treasury, accounting, tax, business development and/or strategic planning. Typical assignments may include: assist in operations audits, monthly and quarterly reporting, financial modeling and analysis, preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments, assistance in worldwide cash management, and implementation of productivity measurements. Other potential assignments in the program may include: cost accounting, systems and software implementation, general ledger analysis, budgeting and strategic planning, market research projects,coordination of international operations, and involvement on factory floor to learn about costing systems.
