Europe's TUI Group Selects Goodrich for Nacelle Aftermarket Support
TUI Group, Europe’s largest integrated tourism and shipping company, has selected Goodrich Corporation to provide MRO nacelle system Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services and support across its group of airlines. The carriers include: TUI AG (Germany); TUI Airlines Netherlands BV (Holland); TUIFLY NORDIC AB (Sweden); CORSAIRFLY SA (France); TUI Airlines (Belgium N.V.); SOCIETÉ D’INVESTISSEMENT AÉRIEN SA (Morocco); and THOMSONFLY LIMITED (United Kingdom). In total the airlines currently fly a fleet of approximately 120 aircraft which include Boeing 737s, 747s, 757 and 767s, as well as Airbus A330s. “We’re pleased that the TUI Group, one of Europe’s leading leisure airline operators, has chosen our team to provide complete aftermarket support for the collective fleet’s nacelle systems,” stated Goodrich Aerostructures’ European Service Centers Managing Director, Steve Callan. “We’re proud that our performance has been recognized as a value by such highly successful operators such as the TUI Group. Our network of European service centers, which are headquartered out of Prestwick, Scotland, have the full capability necessary to meet all of TUI Group’s nacelle system support requirements. We have an outstanding workforce committed to delivering industry-leading service levels and we’re in the process of doubling our capacity in Prestwick to accommodate new customers in the MRO marketplace.” Under the terms of the agreement, Goodrich will provide nacelle MRO services to the TUI Group airlines from its service centers in Prestwick, Toulouse, France and Dubai, UAE.
