Goodrich Actuation Systems supplies multiple thrust reverser actuator systems.

We provide the thrust reverser actuation for nacelle systems which includes mechanical synchronous locks and cowl door opening systems. Nacelle actuation systems range from simple hydraulic jacks to more complete ball screw actuators.

On the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, we provide the Thrust Reverser Actuation System (TRAS) as well as the hydraulic pipework and flexible hoses to transfer the fluid throughout the system. 

This system actuates the thrust reversers on both Rolls Royce and General Electric versions of the 787 dreamliner’s engines and comprises of four 5000 psi hydraulically powered actuators, which are the biggest produced by us for thrust reversers.

We have been selected to  design and manufacture the actuation for the nacelle system, thrust reversers and variable nozzle area for the Bombardier CSeries, the A320 NEO and the A350XWB.
