As an example, we are working closely with the leaders in silicon on insulator component technology that will be the foundation of a complete obsolescence-proof, 200ºC component set to bring products to market. In the future, each Goodrich engine controls unit will have its own embedded electronics and be able to monitor its own health.

This will provide us with early warnings of potential problems, improve our techniques and enable us to provide predictive customer service that saves time, resources and costly delays.
