In 2001, Goodrich divested its specialty chemicals business to focus even more on aerospace and industrial products. And, to signify this completion of its transformation, the company changed its name to Goodrich Corporation and adopted a new logo to express the energy, achievement and aspiration that made its transformation possible and will continue to drive it in the future.

IVHMS
When it comes to health and usage monitoring systems (HUMS) for military helicopters, Goodrich has a well-established reputation as the industry leader. The UH-60 Black Hawk operating with the Goodrich Integrated Vehicle Health Monitoring System (IVHMS) set a new record for the most hours flown by a battalion within a 12-month timeframe and saved more than 45 million dollars in maintenance materials and labor as well as flight costs.
